Three new cast members have joined "Bridgerton" Season 3 as filming for the historical drama's third season has begun
Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips, and James Phoon have all signed on for the new season, which will focus on the love story of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
Marcus Anderson is portrayed by Francis ("Stay Close"), who is regarded as a charming presence that brightens each space he enters and draws the attention of some matriarchs in the ton—and the wrath of others
In "The Crown," Phillips portrays Lord Debling. He is a genial lord with strange tastes who can support his peculiarities with cash and a noble title. This season, young women will be interested in him in spades
Harry Dankworth is played by Phoon in "Wreck." Dankworth more than makes up for his lack of intelligence and wit with his impressive physical attractiveness.
After seeing Colin criticise her last season, Penelope has finally given up on her long-standing obsession on him in Season 3
It was previously announced that Chris Van Dusen stepped down as showrunner following Season 2, with Jess Brownell coming onboard as showrunner and executive producer for Season 3. Van Dusen continues to serve as an executive producer along with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, and Tom Verica of Shondaland
