Meghan King is expanding her dating pool after vowing to “explore” her sexuality at the beginning of the year.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, 38, got candid about going on an “incredible” three-day date with a woman in New York City on Wednesday.
“I opened up my dating app to women. We meet and I’ve never done this before and I have thought about [women],” she told Entertainment Tonight. “Sometimes when I look at porn, I look at lesbian porn, but I never thought that my desires were to be with a woman.”
She added, “I’m like, ‘What if there is something there? What if I am a lesbian? What if I’m bi?’”
King continued on, telling the outlet that after meeting “this chick,” they went to a party and ended up staying in New York together for three nights.
“The first night, the woman and I hook up at the Yale Club. So, we’re hooking up, we’re hooking up in bed, I’m like, ‘This is fun or whatever,’” she recalled.
“I don’t identify as bi and I had never, ever had an experience with a woman outside of a threesome and that had been many years. So I told this woman, ‘I like you and hanging out with you, and you’re beautiful and fun and sexy, but the thing is, I really like c—k and I can’t be in a monogamous relationship with a woman.’”

The confession comes three months after the “RHOC” alum announced on her blog that she was dedicating 2023 to “living authentically” and therefore hoped to “explore [her] sexuality.”
The decision followed a tumultuous past couple years following King’s divorce from Jim Edmonds.
Since their split, the pair haven’t been able to see eye to eye on most things, with both King and Edmonds, 52, constantly slamming one another online and in the press.
The former couple — who were married from October 2014 to May 2021 — share custody of daughter Aspen, 6, and twin sons Hayes and Hart, 4.
Most recently, King fired back at the former MLB player after he filed a motion to modify their existing custody agreement.
“Jim has had three separate mothers of his children, and we’ve all experienced the same kind of thing,” King told Page Six earlier this week at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards. “So I’m just gonna let that speak for itself.”
Amidst all the drama, King hasn’t been very successful when it comes to dating.
In October 2021, the former “RHOC” star married Joe Biden’s nephew Cuffe Owens, but the marriage was annulled only a few months later.
Then in 2022, King was briefly linked to “Bachelorette” alum Mike Johnson but the pair ultimately decided to remain “just friends.”
Although she hasn’t had a steady beau in nearly one year, her sex life appears to be going great.
During one of her recent podcast episodes, the reality TV alum revealed she was having “the most incredible sex ever” with a longtime friend-turned-love interest.
Despite saying she couldn’t see herself in a relationship with the mystery man, King was “mind-blown” about their connection in bed.
