Lisa Marie Presley will soon be laid to rest across from her late father, Elvis Presley, at Graceland.
The family’s tombs are all located around the estate’s famous backyard fountain.
Work on the memorial site began Tuesday, according to the report, but there are other changes expected ahead of Sunday’s public celebration of life that will honor Lisa Marie.
Among the preparations is a stage with a backdrop, which the outlet speculated could be for any musical performances that might take place.
Lisa Marie’s memorial will commence “on the front lawn” of the Memphis mansion at 9 a.m. local time, Page Six confirmed.
Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley Keough’s rep told us that the “Daisy Jones & The Six” star, her grandmother Priscilla Presley and her half-siblings, Harper and Finley, are “grateful for the support, well-wishes and outpouring of love honoring” her late mother.
Lisa Marie died on Jan. 12 at the age of 54 after suffering cardiac arrest in her California home. She had been rushed to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center and placed on life support, but she was taken off after her family signed a do-not-resuscitate order.
Her cause of death has been deferred pending toxicology results.
Priscilla, 77, confirmed her daughter’s death later that night.
“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter, Lisa Marie, has left us,” the “Naked Gun” actress, who was married to Elvis from 1967 to 1973, said in a statement. “She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known.”
