Gwyneth Paltrow won her controversial ski crash trial and has been awarded $1 in damages.
The verdict was announced Thursday afternoon, with the jury deciding that she is not at fault in her 2016 collision with retired doctor Terry Sanderson.
Paltrow, 50, was seen smiling after hearing the news, while Sanderson, 76, shook his head in defeat.
The Oscar winner was at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, with husband Brad Falchuk, his two children and her own kids — daughter Apple and son Moses — when the incident occurred.
Three years later, Sanderson accused Paltrow of leaving him with a traumatic brain injury, broken ribs and a loss of enjoyment of life and alleged that she simply “got up, turned and skied away” — all of which she denied.
Sanderson initially sought more than $3 million in damages, though his lawyers later reduced that figure to $300,000.
Paltrow countersued for a “symbolic” $1 in damages as well as her attorneys’ fees, claiming that Sanderson was the one who had actually caused the collision.
Throughout the trial, the Goop founder made headlines for her bizarre quotes.
Paltrow was simultaneously praised and trolled for her explanation of what the crash cost her.

“Well, I lost half a day of skiing,” she said during day one of her testimony on March 24.
She also commanded attention for her deadpan apology for telling Sanderson he skied into her “f—king back.”
“I apologize for my bad language,” she said in front of the court at one point. “[That] is not my custom.”
When asked if her countersuit for a symbolic $1 was inspired by Taylor Swift — who countersued radio DJ David Mueller for the same amount in 2017 — Paltrow downplayed her associations with the pop superstar.
“I would not say we’re good friends. We are friendly,” she said. “I’ve taken my kids to one of her concerts before, but we don’t talk very often.”
