“And Just Like That…” star Sarita Choudhury, who plays realtor Seema Patel, teased to Page Six that the second season of the HBO show is “very different from Season 1.”
The actress, who plays realtor Seema Patel, added that the upcoming season — which they’ve almost finished filming — is “funnier” than the first.
Despite remaining hush-hush on any other deets, she did echo fans’ excitement over the return of Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) first fianceé, Aidan Shaw (John Corbett).
“[The excitement] makes sense … I would also be like that. When you think about it, he’s back?!” the 56-year-old told us.
“I’d never met him so I was kind of like a fan as well, you know what I mean?” she said at the Writers Guild Awards on Sunday night. “He’s great, he’s a great guy.”
Carrie and Aidan shared an extensive history in the original show, which was later revisited in the second “Sex and the City” movie, released in 2010.
Corbett originally got “Sex and the City” fans’ hopes up back in 2021 when he told Page Six he would be appearing in Season 1.
“I’m going to do the show,” he told us, adding that the news were “very exciting” for him and that he expected to be in “quite a few” episodes.
Fans instead got to see another beloved character kiss the series goodbye.
Following his little fib, which was later revealed to be a prank, executive producer Michael Patrick King and show writer Julie Rottenberg expressed how irked they were over the situation.
“John Corbett should be writing personal apology notes,” Rottenberg told Deadline. “We didn’t say anything.”
Parker later shared that Corbett had reached out and apologized for the prank.
Clearly, all has been forgiven as Corbett has been snapped sharing scenes and smooches with Parker.
